Graham is standing for election because he wants to serve the local area that he has worked and lived in for most of his life. He has been a Beccles Town Councillor since 2008 and was honoured to be appointed as Mayor in 2012 & 2017.
Mark was born and raised in Beccles, where he attended local schools. A student at Westminster College, Oxford, where he gained a degree in Theology and was elected President of the Student Union. On returning to Suffolk, Mark was elected to Beccles Town Council in 1991, served as Deputy Mayor in the first term and later, as Town Mayor.
Paul grew up just outside Ipswich but has lived and worked in the town for the last thirty years. It is a great place to live, being just an hour from London and having a vibrant waterfront area. Paul was elected as the County Councillor for the Bixley Division in a by-election in May 2016.
Joanna Spicer has been a County Councillor since 1989 and she has lived and worked in Suffolk for nearly 50 years. She lives in Pakenham with her husband Christopher and has two grown up daughters and three grandchildren.
Richard Smith has been the County Councillor for Blything since 2017. The area covered encompasses Saxmundham and the twelve villages of Blythurgh, Bramfield, Darsham, Dunwich, Kelsale-cum-Carlton, Middleton, Theberton, Thorington, Walberswick, Wenhaston, Westleton and Yoxford.
Kay has lived in Needham Market for twenty-four years and served as a Town Councillor for fifteen years, on three occasions very proudly as Town Mayor. She was elected to the County Council in October 2018 and currently serve on the Scrutiny Committee. As she works locally part-time, Kay has the time to be committed to helping the residents of the area.
Over the past 20 years, Christine Mason has spent time both living and working in Brandon. She has served as Brandon Town Council Clerk and has also represented the town on the former Forest Heath District Council and served on the Suffolk-wide Flood Risk Scrutiny Sub-Committee.
Judy Cloke has lived in Bungay for 40 years with her husband Brian, who used to work at R Charlish garage. They have two adult daughters. She is a civil servant by profession and was a Town Councillor for 8 years, during which time she served one term as Mayor and two as Deputy Mayor.
