Steve has the great pleasure of living in the beautiful seaside town of Felixstowe. In 2017, he was elected as a County Councillor, giving him the opportunity to represent the town in county matters. He is also proud to represent the Council on “Felixstowe Forward”.
Steve has also been a Felixstowe Town Councillor since 2015 representing the Felixstowe Eastern Ward, sitting as Chairman of the Civic and Community Committee.
Elected as a District Councillor in 2019, Steve represents Eastern Felixstowe on East Suffolk Council. He sits on the Licencing Committee and is currently the assistant cabinet member to the Economy Portfolio.
Working full time in Ipswich in the retail sector doesn’t leave much time for hobbies, but when Steve does find the time, he enjoys gardening and watching most sports. Felixstowe is growing year on year; this brings issues with infrastructure and highways. Using local social media, Steve can communicate his own efforts in getting the very best for the community that he serves.
