She was born in Ditchingham Norfolk, her family have lived locally for generations coming from a farming and service background. Her grandfather was a fireman and father a policeman so a family of caring and giving service to our local residents. Letitia has lived in Carlton Colville for forty years and has worked as an Estate Agent for over thirty years. Her family are grown up and live locally.
Letitia in her role as a councillor believes it is important to help families tackle increasing living costs and sign post where help is needed to get support. She has worked closely with East Suffolk Council Community Partnerships Groups across the district collaborating with local charity and voluntary organisations to prioritise through place based data enabling projects to help our residents who may fell social isolate and improve mental health and well being and works with organisations to improve rural transportation.
Letitia’s been busy teaming up with both council members and local residents to raise awareness about fly-tipping, which has really become a major issue. Her commitment to the environment is further demonstrated by her active participation in the spring litter-picking initiative. Not only did she roll up her sleeves and help clean up, but she also made it her mission to inspire others to pitch in, she’s proven to be a dedicated advocate for her community Carlton Colville.
