Statement from the Leader of Suffolk County Council Conservative Group, Councillor Matthew Hicks.
Peter Gould was elected as a Suffolk County Councillor in May 2021, representing the Hoxne and Eye Division. Peter was a dedicated public servant, holding senior positions in local government across the country before being elected as a councillor in Suffolk. Peter was a very kind man, dedicated to his role and will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, family and friends at this difficult time.
