Harry grew up in Norton and has lived there for all of his 30 years. Coming from a farming family originally, and as the son of a police officer and a nurse, he has a passionate commitment to serving our rural communities.
An NHS manager by background, including during the Covid-19 pandemic, he has been a District Councillor for more than six years – including as Deputy Leader of Mid Suffolk District Council.
He is currently Chairman of Suffolk Accident Rescue Service and has recently led the development of their new strategy to 2030. He previously served as a Magistrate and as a Governor of Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.
If elected, Harry will continue Joanna Spicer’s incredible legacy of hard work, diligence, and forthright advocacy for the Blackbourn division.
Outside of politics, Harry enjoys learning about local history, is a member of his local Parochial Church Council, and is regularly seen walking his two dogs, Tali (a Labrador) and Eva (a Golden Retriever).
